We at Paez care about becoming a more responsible brand. These past couple of years have been pivotal for us to start making much-deserved changes in our products that cause little less harm.
We’re committed to being better every day and thus being transparent with every decision we make. Our factory in Vietnam specializes in the sustainable development of footwear.
Since 2020, we’ve been certified 100% PETA-approved Vegan, meaning that we avoid animal ingredients in our textiles, shoes, and accessories.
In 2021, we started incorporating high-quality textiles recycled by our suppliers certified by The Global Recycling Standard. The GRS is an international standard that sets requirements for third-party certification of Recycled Content and a pedal from recycled pet bottle yarn. Like in 2023, every reference from our SS24 has recycled textiles incorporated in the shoe.
In 2023, we started a circularity program in our flagship store. We invited our community to recycle their old Paez and give them a new life. This year, with our partner at Teco, we plan on developing an exclusive collection made from the rubber out of our in-sole. More to come soon.
